Transport of reefer containers has always been a specialised business within the transportation sector. Henk Vlot Transport from Haaften in The Netherlands, is one of those well-established companies. Reefer containers can easily be connected to the NomadPower sockets but a ‘4-pin to 5-pin adapter’ is required to connect. Transport planner Arnold Visser explains; ‘our reefer containers use a 4-pin socket which is the standard for reefers, however most three phase power sockets are 5-pin. This is not a problem at all as you can simply use an adapter to switch from 4-pin to 5-pin. NomadPower assisted us in getting the right adapters at a good price and we have now started to use electricity during overnight stays in Germany’
